Free Favicons

       How to get and use these Favicons :
(Note: Favicons only work using Internet Explorer and FireFox Ver. 2+)
1.  Left click on your selection of the favicon picture you'd like to use.
2.  Download the file, then UNZIP the file and you will                            
 have "name.ico".  Rename this file favicon.ico and put it
 into your root directory (main dir.) of your server.
Any page saved as a favorite will have this favicon.         
3.  If you have a certain page that you want a different favicon on it,
Insert this line just after the "Title" line in your html file                   
               <LINK href="http://www.yoursite.com/name.ico" rel="SHORTCUT ICON">
If you name it "favicon.ico" you do not need to add this code to your pages.

Remember, the favicon MUST be in your "root" directory.

The easiest way to put your favicon into your root directory is use a FTP program
or use the "File Manager" of your host site.
As an example, save this page to your favorites.  Then click on it.  With the favicon in the Address bar
drag it to your desk top.  It will be four times as large and when clicked on, will take you to this page.
